CSG Sustainability Report 2025

We have published our 2025 Sustainability Report, setting out the progress we made across our environmental, social and governance performance. Building on the foundations established in our first report, we share measurable results on operational emissions, renewable electricity and waste, alongside our first full baseline for Scope 3 emissions.
Our reporting period covers 1 January to 31 December 2025. We assessed 11 material topics drawing on input from our employees and more than 80 external stakeholders.
Key Highlights from 2025
27% lower Scope 1 Emissions
We reduced direct emissions from 1,321 tCO₂e in 2022 to 969 tCO₂e in 2025. HVO use rose by 83% compared with 2024 and accounted for around 14% of our total fleet fuel in 2025.
Zero Market based scope 2 emissions
We sourced 100% certified green electricity across our sites while our on-site solar generated 56,265 kWh throughout the year.
Developed scope 3 baseline
For the first time, we measured our value-chain emissions. They accounted for around 99% of our total measured footprint with 110,292 tCO₂e.
27% reduction in total waste
We reduced the total waste we generated by 27% against the prior year, exceeding our annual 5% reduction target, even as output grew.
EcoVadis Silver Award – Top 15% globally
Recognition for sustainability performance across environment, labour, ethics, and procurement, placing CSG among the global leaders in sustainable operations.
Measuring our scope 3 emissions
Goods and services accounted for 89% of our Scope 3 total. This shows why supplier relationships are central to tackling our wider footprint. We have set out a supplier-assessment programme for 2026 to extend our engagement across the supply chain..
Data that supports our customers
Our Carbon Calculator provides delivery-level emissions data on every proof-of-delivery document. This gives customers greater visibility of the transport emissions associated with their deliveries and information to support their own sustainability reporting and goals.
People, safety and accountability
In 2025, our 98 employees represented ten nationalities, and all completed mandatory training. We recorded three recordable work-related injuries and no fatalities, alongside zero process-safety incidents with potential impact on people or the environment. Our first Voice of Customer programme recorded a Net Promoter Score of +46.3, which is above the industry average.
Establishing our first full Scope 3 emissions baseline was one of the most important steps we took in 2025. It showed that around 99% of our measured footprint sits in our value chain, with purchased goods and services accounting for 89% of Scope 3 emissions. That evidence helps us focus our next phase of work, including our supplier-assessment programme in 2026.

Our 2025 Sustainability Report also reflects the work taking place across CSG to improve operational performance, strengthen our data and governance, and give customers greater visibility of transport-related emissions.
