Celtic Water Care set to join CSG following CCPC approval
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has approved CSG’s proposed acquisition of Celtic Water Care Solutions Limited. The transaction will officially close on 31 October 2026, when Celtic Water Care will become part of the CSG group. The agreement was first announced in January.
Based in Cork, Celtic Water Care provides wastewater and effluent treatment chemicals, equipment and on-site support to customers across Ireland. The team works closely with customers to understand their treatment processes and respond to site specific needs.

For CSG, this brings further experience in industrial wastewater treatment to the group’s existing capabilities. Once the transaction is complete, the immediate focus will be on welcoming the Celtic Water Care team and supporting its existing customer relationships.
